The pricing brain

Stop guessing what to charge.

Most operators underbid and don’t find out until tax time. Boss prices every job against the hourly rate you want to earn.

  • Measure the property right on the map — trace it, get the square footage.
  • Describe the job in your own words: trees, gates, slopes, 21-inch only.
  • Boss does the math and shows the price that hits your target rate.
  • You always make the final call. Boss just shows you what the number should be.

Daily service plans

Your whole day, in the best order.

Tell Boss what’s due and it builds the day’s route to cut drive time. Drag to reorder if you know better — it’s your route.

  • Recurring schedules build themselves: weekly mows, biweekly trims, per-push plows.
  • One tap to mark a stop done — the invoice is already drafted.
  • Rain day? Shift the whole day forward without retyping anything.
Trucks & GPS

Know where your trucks went. No monthly tracker fees.

Most fleet trackers charge per truck, per month, forever. Boss works with a one-time GPS logger — no SIM card, no subscription, your data stays yours.

1

Plug it in

Drop the logger in the truck. Battery or line powered. It records everywhere the truck goes — completely offline.

2

Sync at the shop

Back on your Wi-Fi, it syncs automatically over wireless. No cell plan, no per-vehicle fee, ever.

3

Boss does the math

Every track gets matched to your properties: drive time vs. time on site, per stop, per day, per customer.

“You quoted 25 minutes at the Hendersons’. You’re averaging 41. Your real rate there is $31/hr against your $55 target — want me to re-price it?”Boss, looking out for your margin
Winter mode

When the snow flies, Boss flips with you.

Same app, same customers, same trucks. Boss handles the plow season like it was born in it — because it was. Built and tested in Buffalo.

  • Per-push billing and seasonal contracts, side by side.
  • Storm mode: when an event hits, Boss lines up your plow route by priority.
  • Proof of service: customer says you never showed? Pull up the GPS track with timestamps.
  • Invoice the whole storm by voice from the cab when it’s done.
And the paperwork?

Your books keep themselves.

Every invoice, payment, and expense lands in clean, simple books as you work — no double entry, no 9pm kitchen-table sessions. When tax time comes, hand your accountant one tidy export and get back to work.

One price. Whole product.

Less than one mow a month.

Straight answers

Questions, answered.

Who owns my data?
You do. Customers, invoices, GPS tracks — all of it exports anytime, in formats you can actually use. Leave whenever you want and take everything with you.
I'm not a computer guy. Will I actually use this?
If you can send a text, you can run Boss. Most things you’ll do by just saying them: "invoice the Hendersons," "what’s my day look like," "price this new lawn." Boss shows you what it’s about to do, you tap once to confirm.
Does it work where there's no signal?
Your GPS logger works fully offline — no SIM, no signal needed — and syncs when you’re back on Wi-Fi. The app itself keeps your day’s route and stop list usable in low-signal areas and catches up when you’re connected.
I'm on QuickBooks. What happens to my stuff?
Import your customer list during setup and start fresh on day one. Your old books stay where they are for your records; Boss keeps everything clean going forward, with a tidy export for your accountant at tax time.
What if I run out of AI help for the month?
Nothing breaks — every feature still works manually. You can top up or bump your AI level for next month in two taps. We’ll never silently bill you more.
