Acceptable Use Policy

Boss — a product of ARWIC

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meanings given there. Violating this AUP is a material breach of the Terms and may result in suspension or termination without refund, and may expose you to indemnification obligations.

1. Prohibited activities

You may not use the Service, and may not permit anyone using your account to:

  • Break the law — use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Harm the Service or others — interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the Service or its infrastructure; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data; or probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without our written authorization.
  • Misuse data — access, collect, or use data you are not authorized to access, including other tenants' data; or upload data you lack the rights or consents to provide.
  • Malware — upload or transmit viruses, worms, or other malicious code.
  • Infringe — violate the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person.
  • Reverse engineer / copy — reverse engineer, decompile, scrape beyond documented limits, or build a competing product from the Service.
  • Circumvent limits — evade usage limits, security controls, billing, or access restrictions.
  • Resell — resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service except as expressly permitted.

2. Communications (email & SMS) — special rules

If you use the Service to send email or text messages to your customers, you must:

  • have a lawful basis and any legally required consent to contact each recipient (including prior express consent where required by the TCPA or other texting/telemarketing laws);
  • send only truthful, non-deceptive messages with accurate sender and subject information;
  • include required identifiers and a working opt-out/unsubscribe mechanism, and honor opt-outs promptly;
  • not send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or messages to purchased or harvested lists; and
  • not send messages promoting illegal goods/services or prohibited content (Section 3).

Excessive spam complaints, bounce rates, or opt-outs may result in suspension of messaging features. You are solely responsible and will indemnify us for messages you send (see Terms, Sections 6 and 14).

3. Prohibited content and businesses

You may not use the Service in connection with content or businesses that are illegal or that our payment or messaging providers prohibit, including (without limitation): fraud or scams; illegal drugs or weapons; child sexual abuse material or other illegal sexual content; human trafficking; terrorism or violent extremism; intellectual-property piracy; unlawful gambling; or other activities prohibited by Stripe's or our other providers' acceptable-use rules. If your payment processor prohibits it, you may not do it through Boss.

4. AI features

You may not use AI features to: generate content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful; attempt to extract training data, system prompts, or other tenants' data; circumvent safety or rate limits; or present AI output as professional advice to third parties without your own independent review and responsibility.

5. Security research

We welcome good-faith security research, but you must contact us at legal@bossitall.com before testing, must not access or modify other users' data, and must not run denial-of-service tests. Unauthorized testing is prohibited.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle, suspend, or terminate access, with or without notice depending on severity, and may report unlawful activity to authorities. We are not obligated to monitor, but may do so to protect the Service and our users.

7. Reporting

Report suspected abuse or violations to legal@bossitall.com or support@bossitall.com.
